How much does a wedding service cost these days?
Like the commercial says, this moment in your life is “priceless.” We hope to help you create a wonderful, lasting memory of your relationship’s legal union. As you can appreciate, a lot of time and energy go into making this occasion happen in a way that is satisfying and meaningful, not only to you and your partner, but to your invited guests.
Kimbourne Park United Church can comfortably seat 250 people. Weddings of that size are few. The average numbers are around 100, but more and more people are choosing a smaller, intimate gathering. Talk to your family and friends about your wishes. Give the church a call if you need some help. Most of all, remember that this day is a celebration of your love for each other.
Breakdown of fees for large, full-church weddings
Once you have talked to the minister and decided on a date, you will reserve a date and a time. Will it be an afternoon service or a candlelight evening gathering?
Reservation fee: $200.00

Music and love are intertwined. What type of music do you want to share with your loved ones? Our music director is available to help you with your selection. No, we rarely play “Here Comes the Bride” for the wedding parties. Choices range from great classical pieces to the contemporary and our music director can assist you in pulling your service together.
Coming or going, you want your setting to be just as you have planned. Our care staff oversees the smooth running of your service. You could not ask for a better planner on the day of your wedding. George will be there, not only to set the church up and clean up after your service, but he even goes out of his way to make you feel at ease, whether by fluffing up your dress or straightening your collar.
Our minister will oversee the wedding coming together, and will ensure that your wishes are protected. The minister brings together your ideas within the actual ceremony of the wedding and the signing of the legal documents. This is a time for you to joyously celebrate.

Off-site weddings
Sometimes a couple has a special spot where they want to get married. Again, talk to the minister and he will help you with your needs… as long as it isn’t bungee jumping!

Church Rental for Wedding and Rehearsal
Sometimes a couple has a minister and musicians that they have planned to use for their special day and all they need is the church building. Kimbourne Park can try to accommodate you in your needs.
Booking deposit: $200.00
