A celebration of
being LGBTQ+

We are an affirming congregation

“All people, in all dimensions of their humanity, are accepted, beloved, and should be embraced in all components of our collective life and work. We are committed to honour and celebrate all people’s experience.”

- KPUC’s Vision Statement

We are hosting a weekend long event celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in the East End and hosting conversations about the intersections between queerness and spirituality.

We are conscious of the rise in homophobia and transphobia, and their roots in harmful Christian theology. In the face of this, we affirm our belief that queerness is worthy of celebration and joy.

While there will be conversations about the intersections between queerness and spirituality, we intend for this to be a community event, bigger than just the church, and open to all.

Our building is accessible. The event is free of charge, although donations are greatly appreciated - either cash, or through e-transfer (to office@kpuc.org, please put ‘Pride’ in the memo).

Please RSVP (to one, two or three events) so we’ve got a sense for attendance.
