Programs

Each of these programs depends on a devoted team of volunteers to make it happen - some folks from the church, and others from the broader community. If you’re looking for an opportunity to give back to the community (even if you’re not sure about church!), there are opportunities here for you.

Our goal is to make sure that everyone is fed: body, mind and spirit. This is how we do it.

Community Meal

On the 3rd Sunday of the month, from 11:30 until 12:30, we offer a free meal to everyone - singles, families, couples of all ages are welcome.

Great food! (Vegetarian and gluten-free options, too) Wonderful hospitality! No preaching… we promise!

Garden@Kimbourne

Garden@Kimbourne is a volunteer-driven project that uses permaculture principles to grow food and community in Toronto’s east end.

Our harvest is shared between those who grow it and local food banks.

Games Night

A fun evening of board games for the whole family! Bring a game and/or some munchies. Free and open to everyone. Food available for a nominal charge.

Whatever suits your fancy, we've got the game and the people to play it with. Or bring your own!

Messy Church

Messy Church is a fun way to explore spirituality through activities, story, music and a meal!

Offered collaboratively with Hope United Church (2550 Danforth Ave), this is spiritual formation for the whole family, a chance for you to spend some time reflecting on your values with your kids and with other families that care about the same things.

Pie Sale

A dedicated team of volunteers keep us supplied with pies available to be purchased at your convenience.

All proceeds from sales support the United Church of Canada's Mission and Service Fund. It’s a win-win.

Yoga

Our certified yoga teacher, Kristiina, is trained in many types of yoga. All skill & ability levels are welcomed.

Pre-registration preferred but not required; drop-ins are welcomed. Please bring your own yoga mat. Sessions are pay-what-you-can
